N.C. authorities seize $860K in counterfeit goods at HBCU homecomings

N.C. authorities seized counterfeit merchandise valued at nearly $860,000 during homecoming activities at three of the state’s historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

Special agents with the N.C Secretary of State’s office carried out the sweeps at the request of, and in coordination with, North Carolina A&T State University, Winston-Salem State University and North Carolina Central University.
