Multiple people charged in connection to ‘one of the largest’ cockfighting rings ever discovered in Forsyth County, deputies say

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services Division is currently investigating one of the largest organized cockfighting rings ever discovered in Forsyth County.

On Wednesday, the FCSOASD was called to a home in the 7000 block of Baux Mountain Road in Winston-Salem for an animal welfare check, according to a FCSO news release.
