Residents of Warren County will have an opportunity to see the Buddhist monks who are making a 2,300 Walk for Peace from Fort Worth, Texas, to Washington, D.C.
The Walk for Peace website, https://dhammacetiya.com/walk-for-peace/, and Facebook page state that the monks are taking the 120-day journey, along with the loyal dog Aloka, referred to as “Aloka the Peace Dog,” in order to raise awareness of peace, loving kindness, and compassion across America and the world.
