Cold front to roll through Piedmont Triad Friday

(WGHP) — A fast-moving cold front will bring the Piedmont Triad lots of cold air and wind.

Friday will begin with dry and cold conditions. Friday morning temperatures will be in the lower 20s. During the day, a fast-moving cold front will bring clouds and a chance for a few showers in the afternoon. It’s possible a snowflake could mix in with the showers. Between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. will be the best times to see snowflakes. No accumulation is expected. Highs on Friday will be in the middle 40s. Chance of precipitation 30%.

Behind the cold front, Saturday will be a cold and windy day. Morning lows will be in the low to middle 20s with highs in the low to middle 30s. We could see wind gusts near 40 mph.
