GRAHAM, N.C. — Graham police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a pedestrian Sunday morning.
Officers responded around 6:30 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of East Harden Street and Woody Drive after a reported collision involving a pedestrian. A 31-year-old man was found lying in the roadway with life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to a local hospital. Police say he is in critical condition and his name has not been released.
The driver involved in the crash left the area before officers arrived. Police said the suspect vehicle may be a white or silver passenger car that was traveling west on East Harden Street and may have entered Interstate 40 eastbound toward Mebane…
