Greensboro City Council discusses improvements to downtown

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A work session by the Greensboro City Council and Downtown Greensboro Incorporated investigated ideas for the future of downtown now that the leadership has six new council members and a new mayor at the head.

“Y’all got good ideas. You know how to activate people. We’re here to engage,” Downtown Greensboro Incorporated President and CEO Zack Matheny said.

Previously on the council, Matheny brought recent statistics and future ideas to the council in a work session.
