36 horses killed in massive barn fire in North Carolina

SEAGROVE, N.C. (WBTV) – A massive barn fire killed 36 horses at a stable in North Carolina on Sunday afternoon.

The Feb. 15 blaze broke out around 12:45 p.m. at the Callicutt Stables on Highway 220 Alternate in Randolph County.

By the time firefighters got to the stable, the 15,000-square-foot barn was already engulfed in flames. Several fire departments — including some from a neighboring county — were called in to battle the blaze…
