It’s been around for years, but I just got a call from a small business owner in Greensboro who had never heard of it and almost lost a whole lot of cash. She made a hudge withdrawl from her bank and was about to give it to the scammer.
How the Jury Duty Scam works:
You get a call, the caller claims to be from local law enforcement.
The caller claims you missed jury duty and there’s a warrant for your arrest, you need to pay a fine, or you’ll go to jail
