PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Changes are on their way to the Piedmont Triad for the second half of our weekend. Saturday evening, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies and temperatures falling through the 50s.
By late Saturday, a few showers will be possible and rain chances will continue to increase overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.
Lingering showers remain early Sunday morning with rain ending around mid-morning. Temperatures will start in the low 40s in the morning and highs will reach the upper 40s around mid-afternoon. Temperatures will start to fall in the second half of the day on Sunday as colder air filters in. Skies will be partly cloudy and winds will be strong through the afternoon.
