GREENSBORO, N.C. — The City of Greensboro will open a White Flag warming center on Sunday in response to forecasted freezing temperatures overnight.
The center, located at First Baptist Church, 1000 W. Friendly Ave., will provide shelter from 7 p.m. Sunday until 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, and is open to single adults and families.
Staff from the city’s Interactive Resource Center, trained to assist special populations and coordinate services, will be on site to help guests as needed…
