Housing is key topic in Greensboro City Council retreat

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro is growing fast, but the supply of affordable housing is not keeping pace. That is what industry experts shared with city leaders on the second day of a Greensboro City Council retreat.

City leaders heard directly from state and private sector experts about affordable housing, and they say Greensboro is committed to bringing more affordable housing. City leaders say the next steps are securing funding, partnerships and ensuring the housing units are sustainable.

“You all had a huge impact in Greensboro in what has been done and what will be done.
