The Piedmont Environmental Center will host its first Feather Fest at High Point City Lake Park in just 10 days. The event will feature bird walks, guest speakers, and a Kids Zone, offering a fun and educational experience for families and bird enthusiasts.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars to spot local birds such as Carolina chickadees, Eastern bluebirds, and Northern cardinals, as well as seasonal visitors like tree swallows, purple martins, and ospreys.
