WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Take a Walk in the Park Day is just weeks away, and one Winston‑Salem trail is quickly becoming a favorite getaway for families across the Triad.
The Muddy Creek Greenway stretches three miles through shaded paths, open fields and a winding creek that gives the trail its name. William Royston, director of Parks and Recreation, says every park in the city offers something different, but this one gives residents a view they can’t always find in their own neighborhoods.
