70-year-old man dies in Haw River house fire | Cause under investigation

HAW RIVER, N.C. — One person died after a house fire in Haw River early Wednesday morning, according to the Haw River Police Department.

Officers and firefighters responded to a structure fire at 424 Glen Oaks Drive around 1 a.m. on March 18. A caller reported that a house two doors down from them appeared to be on fire.
