High Point woman dies after being shot multiple times by boyfriend who later took his own life, police say

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — High Point police are investigating the death of a woman who was shot multiple times by her boyfriend on Wednesday, who later took his own life, according to a High Point Police Department news release.

Around 3 a.m., patrol officers responded to a shots fired call at the Oaks at Silver Ridge, which is an apartment complex in the 2900 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Lexington man charged with murder after possible Winston-Salem home break-in, deputies say

The first officer to arrive found a woman, later identified as Jonal Hodge, 22, of High Point, in a vehicle in the parking lot, who had been shot multiple times.

Guilford County EMS took Hodge to a hospital in critical condition. She died a short time later…
