Greensboro teen faces over a dozen charges after shots fired into 2 occupied homes, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A Greensboro teen faces multiple charges in connection with two shootings this year, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

Tivharyi Jefferson, 18, was arrested by Greensboro police and charged after shots were fired into an occupied home on Jan. 24 around 1:55 a.m. on Franklinwood Drive.

He was charged with:

  • Three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill
  • Discharge of a weapon into occupied property
  • Felony conspiracy
  • Discharge of a firearm in the city
  • Injury to personal property

Jefferson was also charged in a separate incident that happened on March 1, involving shots fired into an occupied home on John Dimrey Drive:

  • Six counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill
  • Discharge of a weapon into occupied property
  • Felony conspiracy
  • Discharge of a firearm in the city
