GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A crash caused major traffic delays on Interstate 40 in the eastern part of Guilford County, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred in the area where I-40 East merges with Interstate 85 North heading toward Alamance County.
Traffic camera footage showed substantial congestion on I-40 East due to the crash.
There is no word on what caused the crash or on the status of anyone involved at this time.
