Man accused of shooting at Greensboro officers several times dies in hospital, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A man accused of shooting at Greensboro officers earlier this year who was hurt when police returned fire died on Thursday in a hospital, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

Investigators say that they were called to the scene on the 1200 block of Orchard Street at around 12:41 a.m. on Feb. 26 to investigate a domestic situation.

A caller reported a man trying to break into a home and banging on a window.

Officers made contact with the suspect, later identified as 26-year-old Raevon Milton, in the parking lot, and he allegedly fired multiple shots at them before driving away in a vehicle…
