GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man faces a second-degree murder charge in connection with a 2023 fatal shooting, police announced Tuesday.
Kendal Isaiah Roberts, 25, was arrested Tuesday without incident by members of the Greensboro Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, who were assisted by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Roberts was taken to the Guilford County Jail, where he is being held without bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
Roberts was charged in connection with the Nov. 26, 2023, shooting death of Bakari Aman Lee, 24, on River Oaks Drive. Officers responding around 4:29 a.m. that day found Lee in front of a building with gunshot wounds. He died at the scene despite life-saving efforts by Guilford County EMS…
