Friday drug raid in Burlington yields seven arrests

A drug raid in Burlington has led to the arrests of seven individuals for a hodgepodge of narcotics-related offenses.

According to Burlington’s police department, these seven suspects were taken into custody when officers conducted a search of 2228 Lacy Street on Friday based on suspicions that drugs were being processed or sold at this address.

Among those arrested during the raid was Joseph Gordon Coffman, a 66-year-old white male who resides at the alleged Lacy Street drug den. In addition to the misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, Coffman has been charged with another misdemeanor for maintaining a dwelling for the sale, manufacture, or distribution of a controlled substance.
