PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Pickens County Coroner’s Office reported a fatal crash involving a lawn mower and a car on Saturday morning.
The coroner’s office said it was called to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in reference to a death due to a crash.
Officials said that around 9:15 a.m., Pickens County EMS, Pickens County Fire, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol were dispatched to the area of 833 Jim Hunt Road in Easley for a crash involving a vehicle and a lawn mower. Upon investigation, it was determined that the lawnmower was in the roadway when it was struck by a passing car, causing the operator of the mower to be ejected into the roadway.
