ANDERSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A woman plead guilty to DUI after a 17-year-old girl was injured in a head-on crash in 2024, according to the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
Stephanie Jackson plead guilty on Monday to felony DUI involving great bodily injury.
Ariel Terhune was driving back from a friends’ house, on SC-81 near Wren School Road on Nov. 23, 2024, when a drunk driver, came into her lane, and slammed into her car, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Terhune later underwent five different surgeries for her multiple injuries she sustained during the crash, including broken arms and a hip, five broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a severe traumatic brain injury.
