Honea Path police chief resigns; veteran officer appointed interim chief

HONEA PATH, S.C. (WSPA) — Police Chief Chris T. Miller has resigned from the Town of Honea Path Police Department to pursue other career opportunities, according to town officials.

Chief Miller served the Town of Honea Path and its Police Department for three years, during which he worked with officers, town officials and community members to support the department’s mission and provide public safety services to citizens.

Town officials extended their appreciation to Miller for his service and contributions, noting the town remains committed to ensuring continuity within the police department and maintaining a high level of service.

“We are grateful for Miller’s dedication and service to the Town of Honea Path,” town officials said. “We appreciate his contributions during his time with the department and wish him success in his future endeavors.”…
