A South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) inmate housed in Clarendon County has been charged by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) in connection with separate investigations in Abbeville and Laurens counties.
According to SLED, Larmarcus Alexander Stewart Jr., 37, was charged with stalking on May 19, 2026. He was charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult and financial identity fraud on June 16, 2026. Stewart remains incarcerated at Turbeville Correctional Institution (TCI), and the case will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
