The Town of Williamston Freedom Festival and Concert was held Saturday, June 27. and was one of the first in the area marking the 250th anniversary of America’s independence.
The festival featured a concert with Nashville-based country music artists Travis Denning as headliner, Elizabeth Jo, and Gyth Rigdon from the Voice.
The concert and fireworks were held on the Williamston ballfields. Gates opened at 3 p.m. and music was to start at 6 p.m. Some activities were delayed or canceled due to afternoon thunderstorms…
