SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man has died days after nearly drowning at the lake in Cleveland Park, according to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.
Officials said the man, identified as 57-year-old David Douglas Thornton of Tool Road in Boiling Springs, was pronounced dead on Tuesday, June 30 at 6:57 p.m.
