The Town of Pelzer and Town of West Pelzer are co-hosting a free July 4th Celebration from 6 pm-until on July 4th at the Monkey Park located on Park Street in Pelzer. Free hot dog plates will be served while supplies last. There will be a free kids zone with inflatables and live music by Slammin’ Sammy and the Knockouts.
There will also be a Golf Card Parade which will begin at 7 p.m. A panel of judges will review the parade entries, looking for unique creativity, patriotic flags, lights, and red, white, and blue motifs. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three best-decorated entries, featuring $50 for first place and $25 each for second and third place.
