Man arrested for DUI, more in fatal Greenville Co. crash

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A man remains in jail without bond after he allegedly killed a man in an Upstate crash while evading law enforcement.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said James Noah Moffitt was arrested in connection with a crash that occurred around on Lily Street on July 4.

Investigators said a Ford F-150 was traveling south on the road when a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, operated by Moffitt, struck the truck head-on while attempting to evade law enforcement.

The truck driver was transported to the hospital and later died of his injuries…
