Duke reports thousands of Upstate, NC customers without power during storms

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Duke Power reported that thousands of Upstate and western North Carolina customers are without power Friday afternoon as storms move across the region.

As of 7:30 p.m., officials reported customers without power in the following counties:

  • Greenville County: 2,762 customers without power
  • Anderson County: 3,553 customers without power
  • Greenwood County: 337 customers without power
  • Rutherford County: 166 customers without power
  • Jackson County: 327 customers without power

Officials said that crews are continuing to assess damage.
