CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Power outages were a concern on Friday afternoon as heavy rain and storms moved through the Charlotte region.
As of 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10, there were more than 41,000 Duke Energy customers without power, according to the utility company’s outage map.
