GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — A Pickens man was sentenced to prison for drug charges Wednesday, the Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office announced.
Officials said De’Van Tovantey Nance, 34, was convicted of trafficking fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine; possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana; ecstasy possession; and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Nance was initially charged in 2023, after Spartanburg County deputies were checking that complying with his house arrest in an unrelated case, Solicitor Cindy S. Crick said.

During the visit, investigators found a backpack containing large amounts of fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine.
