3 abducted children found in different states in a week in South Carolina

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — After three separate child abduction cases rocked the Upstate community, law enforcement officials are emphasizing the importance of safeguards for children and honest communication from parents about the dangers of social media.

In one week, three children ages 12 and 13 disappeared from or were connected to the Upstate.

The first case involved a 13-year-old girl who was abducted in Greenville County and taken to North Carolina by a 17-year-old boy.
