A cold front arrives Friday and will bring back the rain chances. There will only be a few scattered storms Friday evening, primarily in the Upstate. A few isolated severe storms with gusty winds are possible.
The cold front will stall out over the area this weekend. Rounds of showers and storms will be around through most of Saturday. Mostly dry weather returns on Sunday.
Friday is another hot day, with temperatures running in the upper 80s to lower 90s. A cool-down is expected on Saturday because of the increased rain activity, but temperatures will be warm again by Sunday and into early next week…
