DUNCAN, S.C. (WSPA) – State agents are investigating allegations of physical and sexual child abuse involving a Duncan town council member.
Duncan Police Chief Benjamin Cox said he was notified of possible criminal allegations against Greg Rensberger the evening of September 7.
“Based on the information provided, I determined that a criminal investigation needed to take place,” said Cox in a statement. “Because a current council member was involved in the investigation, I immediately contacted the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and informed them of what I was dealing with and the information I had at this point.”…
