Greenville police warn of key fob relay thefts targeting cars

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Police Department is warning drivers about key fob relay thefts that can happen in seconds.

Authorities say criminals use a device to pick up the signal from a key fob inside a home. By standing near a door, they can capture the signal, then unlock and steal the car.
