GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – It’s been a banner winter for rainfall across the Western Carolinas and it’s expected to continue into early spring. December saw a nice uptick in rainfall after a very dry fall. We just shy of 5″ of rain for Greenville and just shy of 6.5″ in Asheville. January has been even wetter, in fact already coming in at the 3rd wettest January on record for Greenville and Asheville with still a few days left.
