Versatile Defender: ‘Definitely Have a Lot of Interest in Clemson’

Clemson has been showing interest in this standout defender from the Tar Heel State.

Asheville (N.C.) School’s Justin Rowe (pictured right) drew a recent school visit from Tigers co-defensive coordinator/safeties coach Mickey Conn.

The interest from Clemson is certainly reciprocated by Rowe, a class of 2025 recruit who was an unofficial visitor for the Florida State game at Death Valley this past September.

“It’s definitely humbling to get some interest from Clemson – growing up, watching them like that. And I have great interest in Clemson,” Rowe told The Clemson Insider. “Obviously after going to the game and seeing and witnessing the game and the atmosphere that’s at Death Valley, I definitely have a lot of interest in Clemson and I’m hoping that they share that same interest in myself.”

Rowe, who has racked up more than a dozen offers, is being courted as a linebacker/safety by various schools. The versatile athlete said most are recruiting him as a linebacker, but a select few see him strictly as a safety.
