Crews respond to vehicle submerged in water in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Crews are working to recover a submerged vehicle following a crash on Sunday.

According to the Powdersville Fire Department, the crash happened on I-85 near mile marker 37.

Officials said crew members were able to access and search the vehicle safely. No occupants were located.

Crews checked the immediate area and were unable to locate anyone.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

This crash is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
