GREENVILLE, S.C. (WJBF) — The Put Down the Guns Now Young People Organization is celebrating a milestone.
They celebrated its 14th annual award celebration in Greenville, S.C. recently.
After 14 years of dedicated work in gun safety, the group distributed more than 30-thousand free gun locks and garnered pledges from more than 20-thousand children and teens to avoid guns.
The group is a national partner with Project Childsafe and the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
