Man faces attempted murder charges in Pickens Co. shooting

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – State agents have charged a man in connection with a shooting Friday in Pickens County.

The shooting happened at a home on Honey Lane around 7 a.m.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to the home for a domestic incident where they found a 30-year-old woman who had been shot.

The woman was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital for her injuries.

According to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, 30-year-old Joshua Bradford was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Warrants stated that Bradford was in an argument with the victim, which turned into a fight.

Bradford pulled out a gun and shot the victim several times, according to warrants. After the victim fell to the floor, Bradford continued firing at the victim until the gun ran out of ammunition, the warrants said.

Bradford is being held in the Pickens County Detention Center.
