Hundreds of Upstate students perform to benefit Rotary Club of Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – More than 200 Upstate middle school students gathered Saturday for an honors choir performance benefiting the Rotary Club of Spartanburg.

The 14th annual Spartanburg Sings was held Saturday evening at Broome High School and emceed by 7NEWS Consumer Anchor Diane Lee.

Spartanburg Sings is an organization that raises money to assist with funding youth opportunity programs throughout the county.

The event was organized by Rotarian Dr. Terry Pruitt and made possible through the hard work of middle school choral directors who spent many hours preparing students for the performance.
