Two arrested in Upstate shooting

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in which more than 20 shots were fired.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, January 26, deputies were called to a home in Belton in reference to a shooting. On deputies learned two groups of people had an argument and one group left only to return later and allegedly open fire on the home.

The sheriff’s office said 27 shots were fired in total. One struck the house and no one was injured.

Zildjian Dow has been charged with discharging a weapon into a dwelling and Alexander Ellison was charged with breach of peace.

Both have been booked into the Anderson County Detention Center on a $5,000 and $2,000 bond respectively.
