SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A section of US 176 (Asheville Highway) will be closed for several weeks as crews work to repair a bridge over Lawsons Fork Creek. The S.C. Department of Transportation says during that time, the eastbound left lane of US 176 will be inaccessible. They encourage drivers to plan their routes in advance to avoid the closure.
