Former South Carolina inmate arrested after smuggling contraband back into jail, officials say

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – A former inmate is being charged with trafficking contraband into a South Carolina correctional institution. Officials say Joshua Mathew Wolfe, 24, of Spartanburg, and former inmate of Tyger River Correctional Institution, is charged with smuggling prisoners contraband, trafficking methamphetamines and the possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
