While continuing the fight against opioid substance abuse and misuse, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has announced an enormous settlement in order to provide additional support and resources.
A Greenville based prevention coalition called “POWER Collective,” was awarded nearly $562,000 in opioid settlement funds by the state Opioid recovery Fund Board, one of the first State-specific payouts.
The Power Collective, made up of four organizations, is a community initiative to combat the opioid crisis in Greenville County and includes: The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office , RIZE Prevention Inc, Just Say Something and Safe Rx , which makes Locking Prescription Vials that open with a 4-digit code.
