Police search for driver who caused damage to Upstate church sign

WOODRUFF, S.C. (WSPA) – Police need the public’s help locating the driver they said caused damage to an Upstate church sign.

According to the Woodruff Police Department, someone crashed into the sign at The First Baptist Church at the intersection of Cross Anchor Road and SJ Workman Highway on Sunday morning around 3:20 a.m.

Police said the suspect was driving a white pickup when they ran off the right side of the road and hit the church’s sign.
