Pickens police officer, K9 featured in calendar to help law enforcement dogs

PICKENS, S.C. (WSPA) — A local K9 and corporal will be featured in a national calendar, all to help benefit law enforcement dogs.

According to the Pickens City Police Department, Cpl. Caleb Cassell and K9 Boss are in K9s, Inc.’s 2024 Vested Interest national fundraising calendar.

Every year, 12 law enforcement K9s receive vests, and are featured in the calendar.

The publication also includes a memorial page that pays tribute to the friendly four-legged dogs who passed away.

Calendars can be bought online for $20. All proceeds from the calendars will be used to provide services and equipment for law enforcement K9s across the nation.
