Clemson is in the race for a talented defender in the 2025 class who announced his narrowed down list.
Four-star cornerback Timothy Merritt holds 24 Division-I offers, and the Tigers joined that list last June when he was in town for the Dabo Swinney Camp.
Merritt announced his top 12 schools Saturday, and Clemson made that list as reported by Rivals Brandon Howard.
The Alabama native is one of three uncommitted cornerbacks Clemson has offer in 2025. Mike Reed has spearheaded the recruitment as the Tigers look to get a big boost in the secondary.
While Merritt still has a large group to sift through, Clemson remains a key player and his visit with the Tigers remains his pinned post on X(formerly Twitter).
With spring visits and officials coming up, the time to land Merritt is soon for Reed and Clemson.
