This past Sunday, June 23, 2024, Unity Church of Greenville celebrated two decades of impactful ministry led by Rev. James King and Rev. Leah King. The special service, held at 10:30 AM at the church’s serene grounds located at 207 E. Belvue Rd., Taylors, SC, marked a significant milestone for the congregation and the community.
The event began with a blend of worship, reflection, and community celebration, embodying the church’s Positive, Practical Spirituality teachings, which emphasize the practical teachings of Jesus Christ. The service was rich with uplifting music, inspirational messages, and a heartfelt dedication ceremony honoring the Kings’ 20 years of leadership.

From the moment I arrived, it was evident that Unity Church of Greenville was a place filled with love and warmth. Despite the crowded parking lot, I found a shady spot on the grass, reminiscent of a family BBQ. Friendly volunteers, busy setting up for the post-service potluck, greeted me warmly and directed me to the sanctuary, which was brimming with smiling faces.
