Modal Coffee & Hostel will close its coffee shop in December 2024 to make way to grow its lodging operations in March 2025, the business announced Sept. 6. Following the café’s closure, Modal will continue under the name Modal Guesthouse and its owners plan to keep the lodging portion open and operational. The business plans to close from January to March for lite renovations. Upon reopening, Modal will have four private rooms and a large dormitory room equipped to accommodate 12 guests.
